This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2021 – Saint-Pierre-sur-Orthe devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Vimartin-sur-Orthe (53249) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2021 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Vimartin-sur-Orthe en lieu et place des communes de Saint-Martin-de-Connée (53239), de Saint-Pierre-sur-Orthe (53249) et de Vimarcé (53274) devenues déléguées.
