This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2023 – Reuil devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Cœur-de-la-Vallée (51457) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2023 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Cœur-de-la-Vallée en lieu et place des communes de Binson-et-Orquigny (51063), de Reuil (51457) et de Villers-sous-Châtillon (51637) devenues déléguées.
