This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2016 – Sainte-Pience (commune chef-lieu) est rattachée à Le Parc (50535) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle du Parc en lieu et place des communes de Braffais (50071), de Plomb (50406) et de Sainte-Pience (50535).
