This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 15/12/2016 – Juigné-sur-Loire devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein des Garennes sur Loire (49167) (commune nouvelle).
  • 15/12/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle des Garennes sur Loire en lieu et place des communes de Juigné-sur-Loire (49167) et de Saint-Jean-des-Mauvrets (49290) devenues déléguées.
