This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2017 – Castelnau-Montratier devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Castelnau Montratier-Sainte Alauzie (46063) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Castelnau Montratier-Sainte Alauzie en lieu et place des communes de Castelnau-Montratier (46063) et de Sainte-Alauzie (46248) devenues déléguées.
