This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2017 – Maure-de-Bretagne devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Val d'Anast (35168) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Val d'Anast en lieu et place des communes de Campel (35048) et de Maure-de-Bretagne (35168) devenues déléguées.
