This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2017 – Montaure devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Terres de Bord (27412) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Terres de Bord en lieu et place des communes de Montaure (27412) et de Tostes (27648) devenues déléguées.
