This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2016 – Breteuil devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Breteuil (27112) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Breteuil en lieu et place des communes de Breteuil (27112), de Cintray (27159) et de La Guéroulde (27305) devenues déléguées.
