This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2017 – Levier (commune chef-lieu) est rattachée à Levier (25334) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Levier en lieu et place des communes de Labergement-du-Navois (25319) et de Levier (25334).
