This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2017 – Mûr-de-Bretagne devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Guerlédan (22158) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Guerlédan en lieu et place des communes de Mûr-de-Bretagne (22158) et de Saint-Guen (22298) devenues déléguées.
