This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2023 – Mansle devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Mansle-les-Fontaines (16206) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2023 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Mansle-les-Fontaines en lieu et place des communes de Fontclaireau (16140) et de Mansle (16206) devenues déléguées.
