This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2017 – Mézidon-Canon devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Mézidon Vallée d'Auge (14431) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Mézidon Vallée d'Auge en lieu et place des communes des Authieux-Papion (14031), de Coupesarte (14189), de Crèvecœur-en-Auge (14201), de Croissanville (14208), de Grandchamp-le-Château (14313), de Lécaude (14359), de Magny-la-Campagne (14386), de Magny-le-Freule (14387), du Mesnil-Mauger (14422), de Mézidon-Canon (14431), de Monteille (14444), de Percy-en-Auge (14493), de Saint-Julien-le-Faucon (14600) et de Vieux-Fumé (14749) devenues déléguées.
