This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2017 – Laize-la-Ville devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Laize-Clinchamps (14349) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Laize-Clinchamps en lieu et place des communes de Clinchamps-sur-Orne (14164) et de Laize-la-Ville (14349) devenues déléguées.
