This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2016 – Sainte-Foy-de-Montgommery devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Val-de-Vie (14576) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Val-de-Vie en lieu et place des communes de La Brévière (14105), de La Chapelle-Haute-Grue (14153), de Sainte-Foy-de-Montgommery (14576) et de Saint-Germain-de-Montgommery (14583) devenues déléguées.
