  • 01/01/2016 – Vire devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Vire Normandie (14762) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Vire Normandie en lieu et place des communes de Coulonces (14187), de Maisoncelles-la-Jourdan (14388), de Roullours (14545), de Saint-Germain-de-Tallevende-la-Lande-Vaumont (14584), de Truttemer-le-Grand (14717), de Truttemer-le-Petit (14718), de Vaudry (14730) et de Vire (14762) devenues déléguées.
