This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2019 – Évaillé devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Val-d'Étangson (72128) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Val-d'Étangson en lieu et place des communes d'Évaillé (72128) et de Sainte-Osmane (72304) devenues déléguées.
