This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2010:

  • 01/01/2019 – Saint-Denis-d'Authou devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Saintigny (28331) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Saintigny en lieu et place des communes de Frétigny (28165) et de Saint-Denis-d'Authou (28331) devenues déléguées.
