This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2010:

  • 01/01/2016 – La Flocellière devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Sèvremont (85090) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Sèvremont en lieu et place des communes des Châtelliers-Châteaumur (85063), de La Flocellière (85090), de La Pommeraie-sur-Sèvre (85180) et de Saint-Michel-Mont-Mercure (85257) devenues déléguées.
