This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2010:

  • 01/01/2016 – La Ferté-Frênel devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de La Ferté-en-Ouche (61167) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de La Ferté-en-Ouche en lieu et place des communes d'Anceins (61003), de Bocquencé (61047), de Couvains (61136), de La Ferté-Frênel (61167), de Gauville (61184), de Glos-la-Ferrière (61191), de Heugon (61205), de Monnai (61282), de Saint-Nicolas-des-Laitiers (61434) et de Villers-en-Ouche (61506) devenues déléguées.
