This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2010:

  • 01/01/2016 – Lessay devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Lessay (50267) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Lessay en lieu et place des communes d'Angoville-sur-Ay (50012) et de Lessay (50267) devenues déléguées.
