  • 01/01/2017 – Saint-Sébastien devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Châtel-en-Trièves (38456) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Châtel-en-Trièves en lieu et place des communes de Cordéac (38125) et de Saint-Sébastien (38456) devenues déléguées.
