  • 01/01/2022 – L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de L'Aiguillon-la-Presqu'île (85001) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2022 – Création de la commune nouvelle de L'Aiguillon-la-Presqu'île en lieu et place des communes de L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer (85001) et de La Faute-sur-Mer (85307) devenues déléguées.
