  • 01/01/2019 – Chef-Boutonne devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Chef-Boutonne (79083) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Chef-Boutonne en lieu et place des communes de La Bataille (79027), de Chef-Boutonne (79083), de Crézières (79107) et de Tillou (79330) devenues déléguées.
