This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2010:

  • 01/01/2019 – Aigueblanche devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Grand-Aigueblanche (73003) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Grand-Aigueblanche en lieu et place des communes d'Aigueblanche (73003), du Bois (73045) et de Saint-Oyen (73266) devenues déléguées.
