This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2010:

  • 01/01/2017 – La Vineuse devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de La Vineuse sur Fregande (71582) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de La Vineuse sur Fregande en lieu et place des communes de Donzy-le-National (71180), de Massy (71288), de La Vineuse (71582) et de Vitry-lès-Cluny (71587) devenues déléguées.
