This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2010:

  • 01/01/2016 – Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët (50484) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët en lieu et place des communes de Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët (50484), de Saint-Martin-de-Landelles (50515) et de Virey (50644) devenues déléguées.
