  • 01/01/2017 – Verneuil-sur-Avre devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Verneuil d'Avre et d'Iton (27679) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Verneuil d'Avre et d'Iton en lieu et place des communes de Francheville (27265) et de Verneuil-sur-Avre (27679) devenues déléguées.
