  • 01/01/2016 – Sévérac-le-Château devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Sévérac d'Aveyron (12270) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Sévérac d'Aveyron en lieu et place des communes de Buzeins (12040), de Lapanouse (12123), de Lavernhe (12126), de Recoules-Prévinquières (12196) et de Sévérac-le-Château (12270) devenues déléguées.
