  • 01/01/2015 – La Fresnaye-sur-Chédouet devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Villeneuve-en-Perseigne (72137) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2015 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Villeneuve-en-Perseigne en lieu et place des communes de Chassé (72069), de La Fresnaye-sur-Chédouet (72137), de Lignières-la-Carelle (72162), de Montigny (72207), de Roullée (72258) et de Saint-Rigomer-des-Bois (72318) devenues déléguées.
