  • 01/01/2016 – Torigni-sur-Vire devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Torigny-les-Villes (50601) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Torigny-les-Villes en lieu et place des communes de Brectouville (50075), de Giéville (50202), de Guilberville (50224) et de Torigni-sur-Vire (50601) devenues déléguées.
