  • 01/01/2016 – Varades devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Loireauxence (44213) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Loireauxence en lieu et place des communes de Belligné (44011), de La Chapelle-Saint-Sauveur (44034), de La Rouxière (44147) et de Varades (44213) devenues déléguées.
