Hotel occupancy increases in Q2 2021, but remains significantly below its pre-COVID
level
During Q2 2021, with the loosening of COVID restrictions, the proportion of hotels that were open and the occupancy rate of their rooms increased in metropolitan France, but failed to return to their pre-COVID levels.
Hotel occupancy in Q2 2021 was 39% of pre-COVID levels. This fall remains more marked in Île-de-France than in other tourist areas.
