In Q2 2021, the production costs in construction rose by 0.8% in a quarter, after +1.5% in the previous quarter. They slowed down in specialized construction works (+0.5% after +1.1%), in civil engineering (+2.1% after +3.4%) and in buildings construction (+0.9% after +1.5%).

Year on year, the production costs for construction went up by 2.1% in Q2 2021 (after +2.3% in the previous quarter). They slowed down both in specialized construction works (+1.1% after +2.4%) and in buildings construction (+2.1% after +2.9%). Conversely, they sped up sharply in civil engineering (+6.7% after +1.9%).

Compared to the previous publication (dating from June 2021), the percentage change of producer costs in construction for the first quarter of 2021 is left unchanged at +1.5% .
