In all regions, households more often home owners than 50 years ago
         
         In 2014, 58% of French households owned their main residence. In 1968, this was only 43% growth of 15 points in fifty years. This boom affects all regions. It is particularly marked among senior, the most well-off households and couples with or without children. 40% of households rent their home, a lower proportion than in 1968.
