In September 2018, the price of North Sea crude oil (Brent) in euros bounced back vigorously (+7.8% after −1.2% in August) to an average of €68 per barrel (+8.8% after −2.3%).
Warning: This issue only comments oil prices evolvement. Indeed, some data sets used to compute the imported raw materials indices (excluding energy) are not published anymore by the World Bank, the main source for this data. Imported raw materials indices (excluding energy) will not be commented this month. New data sets replacing those missing should be used and available soon.
Oil price ramped up strongly
