Over one month, consumer prices are set to decline seasonally after a stability in June. This decrease should come from a significant downturn in manufactured product prices due to the summer sales and a further drop in energy prices. Contrariwise, services prices should accelerate sharply in the wake of airfares and accomodation services owing to summer holidays. Food prices should recovered slightly after a downturn in the previous month.
Year on year, the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices should increase by 0.8%, as in the previous month. Over one month, it should drop, after a stability in June.
