In September 2011, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) strongly decreased by 3.1% after an increase in August (+0.8%; first estimate: +0.6%).
In September 2011, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) strongly decreased by 3.1% after an increase in August (+0.8%; first estimate: +0.6%).
Non-domestic new orders decreased as well (-2.7%).
Over the last quarter, new orders increased in industry (+1.3%)
During the last quarter (q-o-q), new orders increased in the “electrical and electronic equipment” (+2.0%) and in the “other manufacturing” sector (+0.5%). Meanwhile, new orders were almost steady in the car industry (-0.1%).
Compared to last year, new orders are higher (+7.9%)
The last quarter’s level of new orders is 7.9% higher than a year ago.
