In January 2012, the turnover increased in the manu-facturing industry (+1.1%). It declined in December (–2.2%). Exports rose by +3.2%, after a small decrease in December (–0.2%).

In January 2012, the turnover increased in the manufacturing industry (+1.1%). It declined in December (–2.2%). Exports rose by +3.2%, after a small decrease in December (–0.2%).
In January 2012, the turnover was up in the manufacture of transport equipment (+3.8%), noticeably in the manufacture of other transport equipment (+12.1%).
Over the same period, the turnover grew in the other manufacturing (+0.6%), in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+2.4%) and in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+0.4%).
The turnover was flat in the electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (0.0%) in January 2012.
In January 2012, the turnover of the industry as a whole (B to E) also increased (+0.6%).

In the last quarter (Q/Q–1), the turnover in the manufacturing industry went up (+0.9%). It particularly rose in the manufacture of transport equipment (+5.0%) and in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+1.0%).
Year-on-year (Q/Q–4), the turnover grew by 4.5% in the manufacturing industry.
