In December 2011, the turnover declined in the manu-facturing industry (–2.2%). It was up in November (+1.8%). Exports were merely stable (+0.1%), after a small decrease in November (–0.5%).

In December 2011, the turnover declined in the manufacturing industry (–2.2%). It was up in November (+1.8%). Exports were merely stable (+0.1%), after a small decrease in November (–0.5%).
In December 2011, the turnover fell in the manufacture of transport equipment (–9.9%), particularly in the manufacture of other transport equipment (–15.4%).
The turnover dropped in the manufacture of food products and beverages (–2.8%) and in the electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (–1.1%).
The turnover slightly grew in the other manufacturing (+0.4%) and in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+0.5%) in December 2011.
The turnover of the industry as a whole (B to E) went down in December 2011 (–1.9%).

In the last quarter (Q/Q–1), the turnover in the manufacturing industry increased (+0.8%). It noticeably grew in the manufacture of transport equipment (+5.5%) but declined in the other manufacturing (–0.6%).
Year-on-year (Q/Q–4), the turnover grew by 6.2% in manufacturing industry.
