In September 2012, the turnover fell significantly in the manufacturing industry (–2.7%), after a rise over the last two months. Exports declined dramatically (–4.2%).
In September 2012, the turnover decreased considerably in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (–4.2%) and in the manufacture of food products and beverages (–3.3%). The turnover went down sharply in the electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (–2.8%), in particular in the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (–9.9%). It also fell in the manufacture of transport equipment (–2.4%) and in other industries (–2.4%).
In September 2012, the turnover of industry as a whole went down by 2.1%. Over the same period, it also declined in construction (–2.8%).

Over the third quarter (q-o-q), the turnover increased substantially in the manufacturing industry (+1.0%). It rose especially in the manufacture of transport equipments (+2.2%) and in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+5.1%).
Year-on-year, the turnover increased sharply in the manufacturing industry (+1.3%).
