In November 2011, the turnover rose by 1.7% in the manufacturing industry. It grew in October by 1.2%. Exports were slightly up (+0.3%), after +2.1% in October.
Every index in this issue is in value, seasonally and working-day adjusted.
In November 2011, the turnover rose by 1.7% in the manufacturing industry. It grew in October by 1.2%. Exports were slightly up (+0.3%), after +2.1% in October.
In November 2011, the turnover noticeably rose in the manufacture of transport equipment (+8.8%), especially in the manufacture of other transport equipment (+15.9%).
The turnover was up in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+0.8%) and in the electrical and electronic equipment; machine equipment (+0.7%).
The turnover was nearly stable in the other manufacturing (+0.1%) in November 2011. It fell by –2.8% in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products.
The turnover of the industry as a whole (B to E) went up in November 2011 (+1.0%).

In the last quarter (Q/Q–1), the turnover in the manufacturing industry increased (+0.9%). It was particularly up in the manufacture of transport equipment (+4.2%) and in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+3.4%).
Year-on-year (Q/Q–4), the turnover in manufacturing industry rose by 6.9%.
