In the first quarter of 2014, dwellings maintenance and improvement work price index (IPEA) increased by 0.4%, as in previous quarter. Over a year, IPEA rose by 1.1%, while “maintenance and improvement cost index” (BT50) went up by 0.1% over a quarter (-0.1% over a year).

Prices increased in electricity (+0.7%), plastering (+0.7%), heat and air-conditioning installation (+0.6%), masonry works and building structural works (+0.4%), painting and floor and wall covering (0.4%), plumbing (+0.4%), wood and PVC joinery works (+0.3%), roofing and floor and wall covering (+0.1%).
Prices desceased in metal joinery (-0.1% and 0.4% over a year).
