In July 2011, the economic situation in the retail trade and in the trade and repair of motor vehicles declines Monthly survey of retailing - July 2011

According to the business leaders interviewed in July 2011, the economic situation in the retail trade and in the trade and repair of motor vehicles declines: the synthetic indicator drops, however remaining a little above its long-term average. Recent sales decrease, as much in retail trade as in repair and motor vehicles. Expected sales and ordering intentions decline too. General business outlook decreases as well, but remaining over its long term average: retailers’opinion becomes less optimistic about the economic situation in the trade sector.
