In July 2011, new orders in industry increased by 0.9% Industrial new orders index - July 2011

In July 2011, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) increased by 0.9% after a slight increase in July (+0.4%; first estimate: +0.6%).

In July 2011, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) increased by 0.9% after a slight increase in July (+0.4%; first estimate: +0.6%).

Non-domestic new orders strongly increased in July (+2.9%).

Over the last three months, new orders increased in industry (+0.7%)

During the last three months (q-o-q), new orders increased in the “other manufacturing” sector by 1.2% and in the “electrical and electronic equipment” by 2.4%. On the other hand, news orders in the car industry decreased by -2.7%.

Over the same period, non-domestic news orders decreased by -2.5 %.

Compared to last year, new orders are higher (+12.2%)

The last three months’ level of new orders is 12.2% higher than a year ago.
