In June 2011, the consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.1%, like in May. The year-on-year change was +2.1% in June (+2.0% in May).

In June 2011, the consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.1%, like in May. The year-on-year change was +2.1% in June (+2.0% in May).
The price index without tobacco increased also by 0.1% in June (+2.1% year-on-year).
Adjusted from seasonal variations, the monthly change was steady in June (+2.1% year-on-year).
In June, rises and decreases almost made up for another: the rise of prices of food products went on and, for seasonal reasons, prices of services grew; a contrario, prices of energy products and of transports and communications services went down.
Prices of food products went up
Prices of food products went up in June 2011 (+0.3%; +1.8% year-on-year), after an increase by 1.0% in May. Prices of fresh products decreased in June (—0.9%; —3.8% year-on-year). Prices of food products except fresh products were increasing by 0.4% in June (+2.6% year-on-year), after a rise by 0.6% in May.
Slightly increase of prices of services
Prices of services increased slightly in June 2011 (+0.2%; +1.8% year-on-year).
Price of energy products decreased anew
In June 2011, prices of energy products were decreasing anew (—0.5% in June, after —1.3% in May; +11.5% year-on-year), in the wake of the decrease of prices of oil products.
Prices of fuel went down by 0.8% (+18.9% year-on-year) and prices of oil products by 0.9% (+12.9% year-on-year).

Prices of manufactured products were steady
In June 2011, prices of manufactured products were steady, like in June 2010 (+0.2% year-on-year).
Slightly rise of core-inflation
Core-inflation (ISJ) was rising slightly in June 2011 (+0.1%; +1.2% year-on-year), like in May. The harmonised consumer price index (HCPI) went up also by 0.1% (+2.3% year-on-year).
