In January 2011, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) decreased by 6.5%, after a strong increase in December (+8.4%; first estimate: +7.3%),due to the anticipation of the end of the scrappage allowance
In January 2011, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) decreased by 6.5%, after a strong increase in December (+8.4%; first estimate: +7.3%),due to the anticipation of the end of the scrappage allowance
Non domestic new orders also decreased in January (–2.8%).
Over the last quarter, new orders increased in industry (+7.1%)
Over the same period, non domestic new orders rose by 9.9% (q-o-q).
New orders increased (q-o-q) by 25.1% in car industry, by 11.5% in “electrical and electronic equipment” and by 0.9% in the “other manufacturing” sector.
Compared to last year, new orders are higher (+12.7%)
The quarterly level of new orders is 12.7% higher than a year ago.
