According to the business leaders questioned in March, the economic situation in the retail trade and in the trade and repair of motor vehicles declines again: the synthetic indicator goes on decreasing but remains above its long-term average yet.

Recent sales have fallen, as well in retail trade as in trade and repair of motor vehicles. Expectations show opposite signals: expected sales mildly progress but ordering intentions slightly decrease. The two balances are near their medium level. Overall economic expectations stabilize over their long term average: retailers’opinion is still rather optimistic about the economic situation in the trade sector.
