In December 2010, the turnover in manufacturing in-dustry slightly rose (+0.2%), after a marked growth in November (+2.8). Exports declined (–2.0%), after hav-ing increased in November (+3.7%).
Every indices in this issue are in value, seasonally and working-day adjusted.
In December 2010, the turnover in manufacturing industry slightly rose (+0.2%), after a marked growth in November (+2.8). Exports declined (–2.0%), after having increased in November (+3.7%).
The turnover was up in the other manufacturing (+1.4%), due to a strong rise in the manufacture of chemicals (+8.6). It also grew in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+4.3%).
In December, the turnover declined in the manufacture of transport equipment (–2.9%) and in the manufacture of food products and beverages (–0.9%). It was almost stable in the electrical and electronic equipment ; machine equipment (+0.1%).
The turnover of the industry as a whole (B to E) was almost steady in December (+0.1%).

Quarter-on-quarter (Q/Q–1), the turnover in manufacturing industry rose by 1.0%. It went up in the other manufacturing (+1.4%), in the manufacture of food products and beverages (+1.9%) and in the electrical and electronic equipment ; machine equipment (+1.2%).
Year-on-year (Q/Q–4), the turnover in manufacturing industry grew by 7.2%. It mostly rose in the other manufacturing (+7.3%).
