The turnover in manufacturing industry increased by 2.2% in July Turnover in industry and construction - July 2010

In July 2010, the turnover in manufacturing industry rose by +2.2%, after a slight decrease in June (–0.3%). Exports grew by +0.9%, after +1.2% in June. The turnover of the industry as a whole (B to E) also increased in July (+1.9%).

In July 2010, the turnover in manufacturing industry rose by +2.2%, after a slight decrease in June (–0.3%). Exports grew by +0.9%, after +1.2% in June.

The turnover of the industry as a whole (B to E) also increased in July (+1.9%).

On a quarterly basis (Q/Q–1), the turnover in manufacturing industry rose by 1.7%. It primarily increased in the other manufacturing (+2.4%) and in the electrical and electronic equipment ; machine equipment (+2.2%). The turnover was broadly steady (+0.1%) in the manufacture of transport equipment.

The turnover in manufacturing industry grew by 6.2% year on year (Q/Q–4). However, it remained well below the level reached before the crisis.
