According to the business leaders questioned in September, the economic situation improves in the retail trade and in the trade and repair of motor vehicles: the synthetic indicator increases and is now clearly above its long-term average.

Recent sales stabilized but this stability masks different tendencies: a rise in retail trade, a fall in trade of motor vehicles.

Expected sales and ordering intentions slightly increase. Overall economic expectations go up too, indicating that retailers’opinion becomes more optimistic about the economic situation in the trade sector.
